Factions Lava (Map #1) Launches Saturday, October 31st @ 3 PM EST

Posted October 27, 2026 by D4zzerYT

Hello, everyone, and welcome to PolarMC!

Polar is our new network built from the ground up for Factions and HCF. Same team you know from PvPCloud, with a whole network that’s 100% focused on raiding and PvP. Our first map, Factions Lava, launches Saturday, October 31st at 3:00 PM EST.

🧭 Quick Info

  • Release: Saturday, October 31st at 3:00 PM EST
  • Map: Factions Lava, Map #1
  • Java IP: play.polarmc.net (or just polarmc.net)
  • Bedrock IP: bedrock.polarmc.net port 19132
  • Versions: 1.8 all the way up to the newest clients
  • Discord: discord.gg/PolarMC
  • Store: store.polarmc.net

🔥 What’s on Factions Lava

It’s OG-style Factions on a modern server. Here’s what’s coming on day one:

  • Real 1.8 PvP. Combat is tuned to feel like 1.8, rods and all, whether you play on 1.8 or the newest version. Pearl and gapple cooldowns apply to everyone, staff included. Getting this right was our number one priority.
  • Bigger worlds. The overworld is 15,000 blocks wide, the Nether is 7,500 and the End is 5,000.
  • A void End. Build your base out in the End. Raiding it means bringing withers, and wither skulls are rare.
  • Cannoning. TNT cannons are in, and so are creeper eggs.
  • Revamped enchants built for PvP, plus a mob coins currency you earn by grinding with your sword.
  • Revamped Lost Sectors with better rewards.
  • A fresh spawner economy that keeps money in check, with new spawners added each week.
  • Daily Bunkers raids, KOTH, envoys, outposts and more.
  • A 24-hour grace period at launch so every faction gets a fair start.

💎 Shards and the Release Sale

Shards are Polar’s own currency, and you can spend them on every realm. 100 Shards is $1. Everything on the store is 50% off for the Factions Lava release, including ranks, lootboxes, gkits, vkits and bundles.

⚔️ HCF Frostbite: Coming Soon

HCF is coming to Polar too. HCF Frostbite is in the works, with pure PvP and no cannoning. More info will be posted in the Discord as it gets closer.
