Sneak Peek #1: vKits Are Coming to Factions Lava
Our first sneak peek for Factions Lava is one of the biggest new features on Polar: vKits.
A vKit isn’t a normal kit. Every time you claim one, it has a chance to evolve. Each new level gives you bigger and better loot. Unlock a vKit once and it’s yours forever, across every season.
💎 What’s a vKit?
Open the menu with /vkit to see every vKit, what level it’s at, and when you can claim it next. Right-click any vKit to preview the loot at each level before you claim it.
There are five permanent vKits plus one seasonal vKit:

🎲 Unlocking a vKit
To unlock a vKit, redeem a vKit Gem. Right-click it to roll for a permanent unlock. Most vKits have a 25% chance, and Demigod has 20%.
A failed roll still pays out: you get that vKit’s level 1 rewards one time. If you redeem a gem for a vKit you already own, you get a free evolve roll instead.
📈 Evolving Your vKits
Every vKit starts at level 1 and goes up to level 5. Each time you claim one, you have a 30% chance to evolve it a level (25% for Demigod).
Bad luck doesn’t last forever. If your evolve roll fails 4 times in a row, the next claim is a guaranteed evolve.
Every level adds more loot:
- Armor and Weapons roll more custom enchants at higher tiers each level. They start with Basic and Rare and reach Legendary and Divine at max level.
- Keys goes from 3 Ember keys at level 1 up to 25 Ember and Magma keys at level 5, with a chance at a Monthly key.
- Raid goes from 64 TNT up to 512 TNT, 10 creeper eggs, 6 throwable creeper eggs, 5 chunk busters and 64 gen buckets, with a chance at a Cannon Core.
Want to level up faster? An Evolution Gem gives you a bonus evolve roll on any vKit you own. If the roll fails, the gem shatters, so use it wisely.
👑 Demigod to God
The Demigod vKit is the start of the top gear in Factions Lava. Each claim gives you Demigod armor and weapons along with Legendary and Divine books, and at max level there’s a chance at an Immortal book.
Wear a full Demigod set to get 5% less damage and +1 heart.
Then go further. Max out a piece’s anchor enchant and drag an Ascension Stone onto it, and that piece becomes God gear. It keeps every enchant it already had. The anchor enchants are:
- Helmet: Immune
- Chestplate: Revival
- Leggings: Counter
- Boots: Speed
- Sword: Lifesteal
- Axe: Barbarian
A full God set gives you 15% less damage, +5% damage to players, +2 hearts and Fire Resistance. If you mix tiers, you get the bonus of your lowest piece.
Ascension Stones are never sold. The only way to get them is to earn them from KOTH, deep Lost Sectors runs and Bunkers.
🔁 Seasons
- Unlocks are permanent. Once you own a vKit, you keep it every season.
- Levels reset each season. Every vKit you own starts the new map at level 1, ready to claim.
- vKit Gems are items. You can trade them, sell them or give them to a factionmate.
- Seasonal vKits rotate. Wraith is this season’s vKit and the only one that can roll the Halloweenify enchant.

Factions Lava launches Saturday, October 31st at 3:00 PM EST on play.polarmc.net. You can join from 1.8 all the way up to the newest version, and Bedrock players can join on bedrock.polarmc.net with port 19132.
